Due to the new coronavirus, daily life is becoming more and more restricted. As a result, children and adults who are not good at expressing their feelings may feel stressed easily.
We would like to give these groups and facilities, as well as other groups that want to play this game, a board game that will calm them down by allowing them to express their feelings and interact with each other. The people who played the game will be “happy” and the people who supported the game will be “happy” by receiving “thank you” e-mails. I hope we can realize a project where everyone who participates can share the “warm” feeling.
■Introduction and Greetings
Thank you for reading this project. My name is Kawaguchi of Chaga Chaga Games. I work as a company employee in Fukui Prefecture, and I’m also involved in board game production.
■What I want to achieve with this project
I would like to send “ZEN Tiles” to facilities and organizations that wish to use this game, such as support classes and day services for people who have difficulty expressing their feelings.
■Why did you decide to do this project?
Due to the new coronavirus, people’s daily lives are becoming more and more restricted. As a result, children and adults who are not good at expressing their feelings may feel stressed easily. We would like to give these groups and facilities a board game that will calm them down by allowing them to express their feelings and interact with each other.
With this in mind, we decided to offer the board game “ZEN Tiles” as a gift to those facilities and organizations that wish to use it.
We have already received requests for gifts from more than 75 facilities that have agreed to the game’s use and the purpose of the project.
We are looking for people who can help us by crowdfunding, because we cannot send gifts to many facilities by ourselves due to financial problems.
■Past activities
We have been producing board games in Fukui Prefecture since 2013, and in 2018 and 2020 we received the “Good Toy” award, a recognition of good toys chosen by toy experts.
We have received feedback that “playing with the game has softened the relationship between children and made them more interested in each other,” and we are donating our own board games “Catalogue” and “Jikkuri Millet” to organizations that wish to use them. (Currently, more than 400 organizations have received donations.
■How the funds will be used
The funds raised will be used to donate games to facilities and organizations that wish to use ZEN tiles.
Donation recipients: At present, we have received requests from more than 75 facilities to donate ZEN tiles.

■About Support
We have prepared two types of support.
A) 500 yen support
1. Thank you email from the organization or facility that received the gift
B) 1000 yen support
- A thank you email from the organization or facility that received the gift
- Original Go stones expressing gratitude that can be used with ZEN tiles
In both courses, we will send thank-you e-mails from the institutions and organizations. If enough support is received, you will receive 75 “thank you” e-mails.
(We plan to use the crowdfunding site’s notification system to deliver the thank you e-mails.
Original Go stones will be sent with the 1000 yen support course.
These stones express the feeling of “Thank you” for participating in this project, and can be used in the ZEN tiles game to “remember the gratifying events of the day”.

Start accepting support on February 09
During the project period, as soon as the support amount of 4,000 yen is collected, the game will be sent to the facilities on a first-come, first-served basis.
Until March 09: Support wanted
Thank you Go stones will be sent by the end of April.
After that, supporters will be notified as soon as we receive a thank you email from the facility.
■Breakdown of funds
Once we have raised half of the “necessary expenses” to donate the ZEN tiles to the facility, the other half will be covered by us and we will ship one product.
We will pool 500 yen of the 1,000 yen in support, excluding returns and other expenses, and send one product for every 2,000 yen (4 units of 1,000 yen support) to the facility of your choice.

Shipping cost: 700 yen
Shipping fee (consignment fee to the facility): 200 yen
Crowdfunding fee (10%): 400 yen
Product cost: 2700 yen
Total: 4,000 yen
■What is Zen TilesCrowdfunding?
This is a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for “ZEN Tiles,” a Kokoro-tsukuri tool made of Go stones and bamboo, for the whole world. In addition to this support, there is also a course where you can purchase the product itself at a discount.
